In my perfect design world, white space isn't cluttered up. Grids provide structure, but they are meant to be broken. And the color palettes that I use originate from everyday life. My name is Michelle Bamburak, and I am a graphic designer.
You could say I am one of the lucky ones who have always known what they wanted to do when they grew up. My passion for design started back in my high school yearbook class, and I never looked back. I received a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Towson University in 2004, and a Master of Arts in Publications Design from the University of Baltimore in May 2011.
I am a full-time graphic designer at the University of Maryland Medical System. I spend my spare time freelancing anything from logos and wedding invitations to direct mail and promotional materials, and I am always on the search for a great pizza joint, travel destination and my next big inspiration ...
